Day 01 : Arrival in Leh by Kingfisher Airlines IT 3341
Upon arrival at Leh Airport at 7.40 AM you will met by The representative and transfer to the hotel.
Afternoon visit Leh Bazaar and Shanti Stupa. The Japanese for World Peace built the Shanti Stupa, at Changspa, on the hilltop, and was inaugurated by Dalai Lama in 1985. Its state of the art work attracts a lot of tourists to Ladakh and is spectacular to watch. From there one can see the nice spectacular view of Leh town.
Overnight stay at hotel in Leh.
Leh City : The capital of Ladakh, at one time was a major stop on the Asian "Silk Route". A stroll along the main bazar, observing the varied crowd and peering into the curio shops, is an entrancing experience. Chang Gali, behind the main bazar is less bustling but has intriguing little shops selling curios and jewelry like pearls, turquoise, coral, malachite, lapis and many other kinds of semi-precious stones, as well as curiously carved Yak-horn boxes, quaint brass locks, china or metal bowls etc.
Day 02 : Leh
After breakfast proceed to visit the Shey and Thiksey monasteries. Shey Gompa is situated on a hillock 15km, upstream from Leh, an imposing structure providing a panoramic view of the green Indus valley from its vantage point atop a hill. Thiksey Monatstery is situated about 20 kms from Leh, it is an imposing monastery and one of the finest example of Ladakhi architecture. Also visit Hall of Fame. Overnight stay
Day 04 : Leh – Khardung la - Leh
After an early breakfast leave for an excursion to Khardung la - highest motorable pass in the world at Khardung La (5602m) The Pass is almost permanently covered in fog and snow. Return to Leh. Rest of the day free to relax of self exploration of Leh. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05 : Depart Leh
In the morning transfer to the airport to board the flight for Delhi.
