The Moti Mahal, the Sheesh Mahal, the Phool Mahal, the Sileh Khana and the Daulat Khana are the other grand structures within the fort. These palaces have an exclusive collection of palanquins, miniature paintings of various schools, musical instruments, elephant hawdahs, costumes and furniture, Jaswant Thada: Built in 1899 AD, this cluster of royal cenotaphs in white marble is a memoir of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. The portraits of various Jodhpur rulers are there on the main cenotaph that boasts of the bravery of Rajput rulers in Jodhpur, Umaid Bhawan Palace: The Umaid Bhavan Palace has an interesting story behind it. The Maharaja of Jodhpur ordered the construction of this palace just to provide employment to the famine struck population of Jodhpur in the 20th century. The construction of the palace took 16 years of hard labor. Now, this palace made of sandstone has been divided into two parts - a hotel and a museum.

City tour of Udaipur ‑ Out of many sobriquets of Udaipur, the 'City of Lakes' and the 'City of Dawn' are the most famous appellations given to Udaipur. The city of Udaipur is ideally set amidst the lush green Aravalli hills and the three lakes. The mesmerizing lakes, palaces, temples and gardens make Udaipur one of the most frequently visited tourist destinations in India. The glittering waters of Lake Pichola make the city of Udaipur most romantic city of India. Udaipur is also called - Jewel of Mewar - as it was ruled by the Sisodia dynasty for a consecutive duration of 1200 years. There are many tourist attractions in Udaipur that make your journey quite memorable in every sense.
Mandore Garden
Mandore was the former capital of Maharajas of Marwar and is located about 5 miles north of Jodhpur, but was later abandoned for the security of Mehrangarh fort. Here you will find the dewals, or cenotaphs of Jodhpur's former rulers. Unlike the usual chhatri-shaped cenotaphs typical of Rajasthan, they were built along the lines of a Hindu temple, four stories high, with fine columns and an elegant spire, all in red sandstone. The most impressive is the dewal of Maharaja Ajit Singh (reigned 1678-1724). These cenotaphs are set in beautiful landscaped gardens. Nearby is the hall of heroes, dedicated to various deities and fabled Rajput folk heroes, whose statues are carved out of rock and painted in bright colours. Next door is a larger hall called "The Shrine of the Three Hundred Million Gods", filled with brightly coloured images of the various Hindu Gods. As you climb up the hill, you come to the ruined city of Mandore, with its old palace. The beautiful Maharani's cenotaphs set apart on a rocky outcrop - a ten-minute walk over the hill. Today its extensive gardens with high rock terrace make it a popular local attraction. Overnight at the hotel.
Afternoon explore this city of lakes on your own. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 07 – Leave Udaipur
