If one wishes to witness the magnificent beauty of the deserts, it resides in Bikaner. Bikaner blooms in the deserts of Rajasthan. Founded in 1488 AD by Rao Bika Ji, it is one of the few places in India worth staying and traveling. To be precise, Bikaner is located in North West of Rajasthan. Bikaner is all about captivating palaces, high-spirited temples, and finest creations of Rajput civilization. Whosoever comes in the vicinities of Bikaner cannot escape affected by its beauty in positive way. Such is the aura of this place. One of the peculiarities, which make Bikaner even more significant, is its slightly raised ground level. Circumscribed by a seven km long embattled wall and graced by five gates accompanying it, Bikaner stands at the zenith of the beauty.

What more, you can witness the charms of reddish-pink sandstone, rich historical legacy, breathtaking views, glittering bazaars, and above the cheerful folks, who make Bikaner all the more worthwhile from travel point of view.

Yet another facet of Bikaner making it even more worthwhile is loads of sand dunes in its sphere. Dotted with undying captivating beauty, Bikaner is all about sharing the natural beauty in the best possible way. The charm of Bikaner enhances as its beauty translates into representing the medieval grandeur.

Deserts cannot be complete without camels. So, one of the other features that cajoles even the keenest connoisseurs of Bikaner travel is its character of being a camel city. Nevertheless, Bikaner stands at the zenith of beauty and tranquility. Bikaner also attracts many travelers who come to conduct research on camels since it has the largest Camel breeding farms in the world.

Some of the best places in Bikaner to reckon with in the city of Bikaner include Gajner Palace. Falling in the category of most impressive cities, Bikaner is one of the few places where the western travelers can find everything from beauty to tranquility. The pillars of modernity as far as today’s Bikaner is concerned were laid back during the rule of Maharaja Ganga Singh. Therefore, the modern Bikaner is the result of the then ruler’s vision.
